PDFTranslate is a browser service for translating whole PDF documents rather than pasted text. You upload a file of up to 50MB and 100 pages, pick a target language, and it shows a page count and credit quote before anything is charged. It reads the text layer, reading order, tables and figures, runs OCR on image-only pages, translates in context across paragraphs and captions, and rebuilds the page so that page size, images, tables, links and text positions stay recognisable. Each job returns two files: a translated-only PDF and a bilingual one. It handles 13 source languages and 19 target languages, and Korean is available in both directions, alongside English, Japanese, both forms of Chinese and others. One credit covers one source page, with OCR included. Results stay downloadable for 7 days. The site says customer documents are not used to train a general-purpose AI model, that files can be deleted immediately from translation history, and that failed jobs release their reserved credits. The service itself says that language expansion can change line wrapping and that high-stakes documents still need a human review.
