What Sharpniq is best for
Sharpniq is a single-purpose photo sharpening tool aimed at soft focus, motion blur, and compression damage. It runs two paths. Browser Free processes the image on your own device: no account, no upload, no credits, and a limit of about 4 megapixels. Cloud Unblur is the optional server path, which needs a sign-in, handles up to 12 megapixels, and costs 10 credits per usable result. It accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, HEIC/HEIF, TIFF, BMP, and SVG up to 10MB. New accounts get 10 welcome credits, enough for one cloud result, and paid packs are one-time purchases at $4.99 for 100 credits (about 10 images) or $9.99 for 220 (about 22). Purchased credits do not expire under the current rules, credits are only consumed once a usable result is delivered, and eligible failures restore held credits automatically. Originals and results stored in a project are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours.
- The free path never uploads the photo, which matters for documents, ID photos, and family pictures
- One-time credit packs instead of a subscription, and purchased credits do not expire
- Billing is outcome-based: unsupported files and eligible failures do not consume credits
- Unusually wide format support for a browser tool, including HEIC from iPhones and AVIF
- Sharpening cannot recover detail the camera never captured — a badly blurred photo stays approximate no matter which path you use
- Browser Free is capped at about 4 megapixels, so larger photos push you to the paid cloud path
- No Korean interface; the site and its billing rules are English-only
- The site states there are no unlimited plans, so heavy batch work adds up per image
- A pack only adds credits — it does not unlock HD or 4K export, batch processing, or video
